Meet the Author

Melanie Dieas is a writer and farm-loving mom who lives on a little patch of land with her family and animals (including a flock of spirited chickens!) Inspired by her son and everyday moments in the countryside, she wrote Clover the Brave Chicken to celebrate courage, curiosity, and the quiet strength that lives inside every child. She’s a big believer in muddy boots, bedtime stories, and raising kids to be both kind and brave.
